Premiere CC 2017 RED Epic-W footage import

Does anybody have problems with importing RED Epic-W footage into the latest Premiere CC?
Takes about 20 minutes to import a 120GB card. Also had to relink Epic-W footage and it also takes ages.
Also tried to import Epic-X footage which only took a couple of seconds to import or relink.

Same. Epic-W footage is not showing up on my media browser either.

A few things. Please post what operating system and if possible things like what your hard drive setup is and perhaps even GPU.

Not having issues as of yet, Windows 10 + Nvidia GPUs.

I'm using a 2013 iMac with El-Capitan and a 6TB G-Drive from G-Technology connected via Thunderbolt.
The iMac runs with the 3,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX.
