As you might imagine, we are receiving quite a few emails. Instead of replying to each person individually, we will send out an email blast to confirm everyone who has expressed interest once the email influx slows down a little. We will send subsequent blasts as we have more information (ie, the questions in your emails are noted).

Rest assured, I have received everyone's emails. Once emails slow down, we will be sending out an email confirmation to everyone. Thanks for your patience.

I think I went nuts and sent a all bunch of them, I'll make it up to you with Tirami Su' for the extra work caused hehe

Just sent out my request for an Epic-M
That will be for my own personal use...
But I was wondering, would the owners of an Epic-M get first dibs on some future product, say... a Scarlet Fixed?
Just wishful thinking :-)

Kelly, is it fair to say that you guys have well over 100 orders for Epic M? :sifone:

Here's what I don't understand about all this excitement. If you're in Group II as I am, it seems that for the extra $20,000+ for the M model, all you're getting is a) a machined body and parts and b) faster delivery time. Just how many of us need to unscrew the body? Ever? Normally, if something is wrong, tech support does the unscrewing, not you. Earlier this year JJ learned what so many of us already knew, that machined parts are normally superior to cast ones. I don't see this upgrade being worth $20,000. What am I not seeing, other than bragging rights?

What I've asked Red managment for is the specs for a titanium body. @ $40,000+ more than Group II, if titanium cuts down the weight by 2-3 pounds, then I can see a real benefit to some people. Not only will brushed titanium with the Red logo look striking (JJ, that's called serious marketing), it might even be a functional improvement. But if it's only ounces/grams, then I can't even get excited over that option.

I hope someone out there can tell me where my thinking has lapsed.

Well, if you have customers or your humble self needs an Epic NOW, then it's a good idea. If not, it isn't... -:)

I think it would be rather easy to make the extra cost back over 2-3 months....

Ti weighs more than Al.

The 2 months earlier is what makes it worth it. We can make that money back plus quite a bit in that time.
