The Quick Plate looks like a great way to save weight and space when shooting to CF card only. Fantastic for a vehicle mounted shot.

Come on! Try www.arri.com. If you cant afford it, make it out of Lego and rubberbands.

Wow, thanks for the help pal. Look me up—I can afford it. But there are no prices on Arri's site, and I think people might like to know how much this rig would total out to.

the Arri FF

note the Red has the 15-19mm ( or is that 19-15 ) adaptor with it

from a 2006 price list i have = approx 2900euros list price ..

Thanks donatello, that's much more helpful. For those interested, that's about US$4K.

I'm giving Jarred a lesson in table-top photography. :-)

Actually, we are doing these together. The professor and the student. The student is getting pretty fu$king good.

I give free classes... and some stories to go with the lessons!

You guys need another photographer to come down and lighten your work load (Yea, right!).

FYI- The FF5 is designed for Video lenses...we had issues with it not reaching the gears on our Ultra Primes and returned it for the FF4. The FF4 is designed for Cine Lenses. Its a few dollars cheaper, I think we paid around $3200

Just make a link on reduser. It's OK.

"Just make a link on reduser. It's OK."

i assume that would mean i would need to have it up on web so it can be linked ??? ... i don't have a site or place to up load ... i just sent it to a Reduser - perhaps they can link it ?

for those that say email it to them - the problem is under reduser profile there is NO email address ... and the email the site provides ( hides email address) doesn't allow attachements ...

OK Brook i just found your email ... it's in the mail as they say ...
