  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wanted to do something fun to check out reference images of some peoples' work in regards to beautiful skin town and available night shots.

Attaching the ones I directed/DP'ed this past weekend. I used the luts Juan Melara posted a couple months back.

Looking forward to seeing everybody's work.



Specs:
Red Scarlet 8:1
ISO 800
Nikkor AI lenses

Since it was a lens test, the noise from the middle night photo comes from the fact that it was almost pitch black. Brought it up in Resolve.

Thanks Dominik! I really appreciate it. I thought I saw some stills from you earlier. Had to take them down? Anyway, great stuff.

Natural lighting and bounce. No filters except for a cheapo promaster vari-nd which I'm pretty sure softens the image a little bit. It's quite pleasing though.

Dominik can you be specific for each frame as far as lenses used.

No experience with either lenses on my Scarlet :(

thats where all the ritual cremations are happening hey ? I missed that on my last India trip, still kicking myself I didn't have an epic back then....you cant point the camera anywhere in India without getting an amazing shot. such a great place.
