is that Red Quick Release system?

Yes, I love it. I have the dovetail QR plate, and it's very nice. The RED QR system overall is the best QR I have ever used.

I agree it is very good. When it's locked, it's locked... Well. It is quick coming off of the head too. Going on is a different story. That takes some getting used to.

I like how you are mounting the RED PRO 5.0 unto the top handle, I am going to try to figure out all the pieces but might PM you if I need help :yesnod:

I just used the center hole on the LCD right into one of the holes on top of the handle. With the mounting "foot" pointed the direction I've got it, everything folds together nicely (monitor down toward the handle, with the handle off the camera) to fit into one of the slots in one of my two Pelican 1510 cases with dividers.

here's my PL run'n gun rig, can do lighter with the canon mount...
i'm really loving the gunner, nice and tight light weight and the balance is not that bad.
Can go from tripod to shoulder in a second.
i put the top sliding handle under the gunner with a dog bone B and chest pad.

The photos need to be hosted somewhere online like your own website, or Flikr or some other pic sharing site. Then you click one of the web icons (Insert Image 3rd from the right) above the text box and input the URL that points to the photo - Reduser then just 'imports' the HTML to show the picture.

But why bother… I just read on another thread that Scarlet is obsolete anyway...

Yes its obsolete.
Please send all your Scarlets and gear to me for decommissioning.
I will make sure I put it to good use :)

Hey guys, I just wanted to share a little trick I've been using lately.
I haven't had the chance to invest in a decent Mattebox, but I had to use filters on some job. So to have a temporary solution till I can get an Obox or so, I bought a cheap Cokin Filter Holder, on a photography website. It comes to about 120 euros with ring adapters for all my lenses. I bought nice 100mm Lee Filters and they hold perfectly in it.
Plus it rotates (for pola and grads) and can hold 3 filters at the same time :)

Can't wait to have a proper mattebox though, but in the mean time, that works perfectly.

Scarlet #00741. Lots of WC gear/armor. About 20lbs. with this lens and the Redvolt XLs.

Just waiting on the 4.0 firmware release build with image flip to make this particular monitor configuration work. Will be great when it comes out.

I also occassionally mount a hot shoe with a cardioid mic for doc work.
