  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Tonight would be the night to brush up on the rules. Aw Crap! Redbox is out of Zombieland...looks like people had the same idea.

It’s seven O’clock in the morning out here in New Mexico. Check e-mail, have my second coffee, stretch my legs, go outside, check on the horses, ….and have a peak to see if the fundies next door got raptured away up into the sky… without anyone noticing, ..have a third cup of coffee, feed the horses…

Did anyone say what time the Rapture was supposed to kick off? ( We'er on Mountain time)

I hear Beelzebub is rather “dicky” about signing release forms, best to bring ones that are printed on asbestos tablets (I hear)…[The new Zombie overlords are real sticklers for red tape (and brains)]

life is soooooo boring without Rapture(s)?, Apocalypses, Zombie Invasions and hanging out in Beelzebub’s make-up truck…


(Well to that end here’s to living in a relatively peaceful corner of the planet!; for that I’m truly greatfull…)


[My money’s on a Permian style extinction caused by a too close super nova (much more devastating than a bad day in the Cretaceous that wiped the Dinosaurs out) and can happen at any moment without any warning. Has anybody made a movie about that one I wonder? Permian style extinction would make Armagedon, the Rapture and whatever Hell has in store for us, seem all combined like a total pick nick by comparison. How do Zombies fare under incomprehensibly brutal gamma and cosmic radiation (I wonder)…

The things that’s really gut wrenching; the good wife tells me this morning that unbelievably horrible things have happened as a result of the supposed “Rapture”; for example a woman cutting the throats of her kids with a box knife to spare them the impending “tribulations” coming in October. Other types of incidents where people quit their jobs and blow all their money in one go etc. etc.

The link between “comedy and tragedy” is never far away. If you look on the other thread with Trier and watch the Cannes interview you will see what I mean.

I was thinking it’s ironic that we jokingly talk about killing Zombies and apocalyptic events, and yet half of the world right now is in major turmoil; (was lucky enough to also watch Restrepo last week), but reminds you that half the world is up their eyeballs in a (life or death) struggle as we speak/post.

With this and also Trier’s monumental “gaff” in mind;

I am reminded of Mel Brooks saying “Humor is just another defense against the universe.”

Poor Mr Camping can't help it if not a single none of us 6 billion sinnin' bastards could cut the mustard. Not even him.
