  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This might be a idiotic question but I've never used Davinci...
Is it possible to use Plugins (such as Sapphire) within Davinci ?
In particular I'm interested in the 'filmlook' (you can chose different film stocks/ gamma curves / grain structure) .
Or perhaps something similar.

Currently no. I did ask them to support OpenFX plugins - which would give you Sapphire etc :)

For gamma curves & film stocks - those can be achieved with DaVinci's realtime tools though.

For grain structure, buy CineGrain (real film scans), put it on V2 of your DaVinci multi-layer timeline and change to Overlay mode?

Adjust to taste.
