  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Playback MAGNIFY

I noticed that too. I assume it must be a trade-off for whatever cleverness is necessary to achieve 1:1 magnify. I guess there is not enough processing power available to do playback and 1:1 at the same time. If that is the case, can we get the previous magnification factor back again for playback? In the absence of 1:1, that was still very helpful.

I neeeeed this!!!!! Magnification during playback is a MUST for steadicam! How else can I blame it on the focus puller when the shot's out of focus:)

I noticed this too. Even stranger I noticed the external 17" Panasonic monitor went purple & magenta on playback (while the EVF and Red LCD were fine/normal)...most strange, quite trippy though!

Turn your playback to 720p and see if that helps, the older panasonics don't support 1080p

Can someone from RED tell me if this is a bug, or if playback magnification has been dropped completly.

Thanks

Playback

Playback resolutions of 720p and 1080p are available as a selection from the UI.

If in 1080p, the purple / green maybe because you are connected to HD-SDI and not PVW as you would be looking at 1/2 of a 4:4:4 RGB signal.

Hi Stuart

Can you tell me if magnification (zoom in 1:1) on playback will be back in the build some time?

Stuart - Brian's asking about loss of magnification in playback.
PLEASE CAN WE HAVE IT BACK ASAP!
