I'm in the market for a new TV. What are people watching movies on LCD, LED or Plasma?

LCD and LED are the same thing. The only difference is that LED implies an LED backlight. The actual screen technology is LCD.
IMO
Plasma have a better image quality, but don't fare so well in bright enviroments or for static images (PC use, gaming, ..)
You can turn all the "enhancement" processing off in the menus.do those plasmas have this sharpening processing, too? That makes film appear like video? I've never seen a big Panasonic plasma, hence my question.
