  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sorry to continue an off topic string but if it’s happening here…

When Jobs said trucks he was talking about *forgive me* Mac Trucks. Something that is useful for a very specific “heavy lifting” purpose. Job’s see’s the touch tablet as the computing device of the future. He thinks that the vast majority of computing (however you’d like to define that) will be done on tablets. He doesn’t think desktop PC’s will be replaced entirely, just relegated to specific tasks. I’m not sure, but I would venture to guess that the editing of moving pictures (and hence FCP) would fall on the shoulders of the specialized desktop computers that are left in his world.

How’d this come up are they using FCP on Pirates 4? I would guess Avid.

Sorry it wasn't related, i just replied to a post that i felt sympathy with, and i think you are mixing ballmer's quote with jobs, its an unrelated long talk and i think its better to let it go, but you can message me if you want to continue it.
 
It looked great on the big screen. The 3D was good too. It was better than quite a bit of the 3D that was shown - and there was a lot.
