  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The key is to ask for something even with an UNfinished firmware. :) Of course, it may still yet be the wrong key but at least you get a bit closer. Hehe
Joseph, I don't think they are going to ship any Nikon mounts before their time.

Kinda like a cousin of mine who used to go off on a three or four day bender. Someone would run across him in a bar and upon learning he had been gone for a couple of days already would ask "Don, you'd better get home or your wife is going to kill you." My cousin would reply. "Nah, she's as mad as she can get about now. If I stay away another day or two she'll start to worry about me. Then I'll go home."

The moral is: No need to release the Nikon mount before it is completely done. Those waiting are past being mad and are just hoping the Red team can master the intricacies of the more complicated Nikon version.

Thanks for the explanation.

You know, seeing these pictures, and hearing how the identity of each camera's 'owner' is known, makes me wonder how feasible it would be to offer customers a set of assembly line pictures taken at key parts of their particular camera's manufacture.

Your idea is good, but it is probably a good idea to get out of backorder on everything before we start adding things to the list of things to do :)

Hey Jarred. Do you guys do a "burn in" test while running? Just curious how long that is. 24 hours?

As much as what I love this idea of seeing my EPIC getting built in photos, I love the idea of getting my stage 4 sooner.

Are you still on track for out of back orders for Feb12?

:))

Jarred, can we safely say that all orders will be fulfilled by january, or no

Production is ramping up dramatically. We hate being in perennial back order. We are going to change that part of our business. Watch.

lol, I forgot you guys have more good idea's than you can possibly put into practice. I'm talking about icing on the cake and you guys are up to your necks in the meat and potatoes of it. No probs, keep at it.

Amazing!!!

After watching the photos of that super clean production facility I have finally to start clean my room properly...

Reminds me of that Judy Tenuda bit. "Judy, you'll never amount to anything because you procrastinate."
"Oh yeah? Just (beat) you (beat) wait."

I'm sure it's tricky hitting the right level so that you aren't over-capacity after the peak.

Awesome.

BTW, Jarred, which of these cables go to the camera power on button?...got my torx screwdriver and a soldering iron ready...just kidding :)
