  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

PARIS VOGUE

Great pics, but now I have to dig out my Duran Duran vinyl to get that song out of my head.
Girls on Red?

It even fits rhythmically!

Cheers,

Does the Bomb EVF work.. I have not seen a single pic with it on a working set or a test.
and how does it attach to the EPIC.
Not that it concerns me as Im sure it will.. just curious.

heh heh yes it does... and Keslow Camera and OffHollywood ( amongst others ) have them for rental. We are still a few weeks away from shipping the motherload.

Hi Jarred,
Do you have a pic of the Bomb EVF on a working EPIC yet.. for real.
Would love to see how it fits and works. :)
And cool, I've ordered 2 already, (EVF's and EPIC X's..

Also, this may not be the thread, but the young studio hand (and RED Nutter) just walked in and told me that the new Scarlet will do what the EPIC X does and said why buy the EPIC.. I said...(gulp) I hope not.

What's the latest on the Scarlet please. Will the EPIC have the big balls over the cheaper Scarlet or is he just pulling my chain.

Thanks Bud.

Jarred, you think you can post at some time...stills from the 17-50. I would love to see some real world field results of the IQ on that beast.

Dear Jim,

I come here by this post, make my sincere complaint about RED, in consideration to your army of cameras around the planet.

We are very sad about this acknowledgment, We where one of the first's to shoot for VOGUE with RED, a motion picture editorial and use the frames of the redone to print the cover page and editorial, with top model Bruna Tenorio, and the others, Alessandra's, Isabelli's, Giselle's to Lindsay's Lohans that followed, since January' 09, almost 2 years ago.

We tried to several times to enter in contact with REDs PR thru our channels with you guys, never received a response or a reply, this video walked all vogue channels internationally and all fashion industry and we wanted to promote the technology as we where the first movers in the Brazilian market and in the fashion market, this helped quick start the market for fashion motion picture way before Inquire's, and this movie that you promoted is a subsequent of that.

Sincerely,

hey Jarred,

Have you modified the front end of your zoom? It looks ...."slimmer".

This IS STILL one of my favorite RED Stills/Motion shoots ever... I firmly believe that as the years pass this will be remembered as a historic step in capturing Fashion through Stills/Motion.

Honestly... Work like this drives me.

Thank you for sharing this again and congratulations to everyone involved!

Cheers.
