Good evening guys!

I was wondering if anyone uses this with the epic? If so, is the HDMI connection annoying or does it work perfectly fine? If you have a moment to give insight on one more thing... Id love to know if it drains your batteries (P tap) quickly?

Having something so compact and as reliable as others on the market is awesome. - definitely pick up a short HDMI cable (Paralinx sells some I believe) so that you can get the transmitter up and away from the back of your camera. I'd also recommend grabbing their SHIELD, which lets you bolt the transmitter anywhere on your Epic (or just gaff-tape the piece, but you need to make sure you don't block the vents).

I did also end up grabbing the Atmos converter (HDMI > SDI) for the receiver, as some of my clients just don't have an HDMI port.

Battery drain via P-tap is negligible - haven't felt like it's been sucking a lot from my 90w Switronix compared to the Epic itself!

Ditto about getting one - this is hands down the best value for money in this category. Power draw is negligent and the Arrow is super simple to use and very reliable. As Brendan have said - do not plug it directly into the HDMI port - use a short thin HDMI cable (like the one sold directly by Paralinx) and I also recommend to get the Shield for easy mounting solution...
The part is the legendary customer support - buy with confidence...

Question. I've used Paralinx Arrows several times and that's nearly always been via p-tap. I'm about to add one to my kit and am looking to power it differently.

Is there an appropriate 2-pin LEMO cable that works with the Backpack Quickplate Short?

I see one cable, but I don't know if the pin outs are correct.

Thanks peeps.

Paralinx sells these. Both are 2 pin lemos which I believe is what you need.

I personally power them off the cheap amazon anker batteries: http://www.amazon.com/10000mAh-Dual...&qid=1407784261&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+battery
