See you all at the Paramount pictures backlot for Cinegear today and Tomorrow!

I can't believe it has been one year since we debuted!

Thank you so much to all our friends and loyal customers! The rest of 2013 should be a BLAST!

best,

Dan

Crossbow price today at CineGear was $239 without the power cable I believe. Not bad!

Crossbow Takes 5v-30v DC input for power.
It has a locking power connector.
It accepts a normal wide range of SDI input formats.
It's nice and lightweight.
Price starts at $239.
We aren't taking any pre-payment for it, but we can put you down on the waiting list if you email info@paralinx.net
There won't be a lot of waiting - we begin shipping in July.

I think you guys will like it!

More info to come soon. Just thrashed from Cinegear.

Best,

Dan

I know it's a sore spot, but who the crossbow accept a nyrius transmitter as well? We have one as a backup.

Thanks Dan. One question. Does the crossbow power the transmitter just by plugin it in or do you have to put a cable from the 5V out of the crossbow to the arrow?

Pat

There is a flush cable running from the crossbow to the arrow.

Regarding loopout - I did not put loopout for two reasons: 1. To save you money, 2. To make it smaller.

one more reason loopout is not necessary on this product is you loopout of your on onboard monitor if you need to. All good Sdi monitors have loopout and our device should be at the end of the signal chain anyway not in the front.

best ,

Dan

I didn't see any SDI loop out on the picture. Without loop out of limited use. Need loop out to go to steadicam. Some cameras only have one SDI out connector.

Also, just a small note. I shoot with my epic and sometimes other cameras on a weekly basis - I'm not sitting in a dungeon blind boxing this stuff (at least most days)

kind regards,
dan

On a steadicam the monitor is on the bottom on the sled, not on top where I have the Arrow.
For steadicam loop through is important. As many of us are upgrading to HD we no longer need a decimator. So we need to loop through from the wireless to the sled.
