Hi Dan, I have some questions and sorry if those were already addressed:
1. what are the physical dimensions of transmitter and receiver?
2. What is the range if SmallHD DP-6 powers it what is a range if a 2.1A USB battery powers it?
3. What is a power consumption of receiver and transmitter?
4. How transmitter is/can be powered?
Thanks!

Hi Alexey!

1. what are the physical dimensions of transmitter and receiver?

Dimensions:
Receiver is 3.8 (L) x 2.2 (W) x 0.8 (H) inches
Transmitter is 3.6(L) x 1.2 (W) x 0.6 (H) inches

Weight:
Transmitter 0.7oz
Receiver 2.1oz

2. What is the range if SmallHD DP-6 powers it what is a range if a 2.1A USB battery powers it?

Range with 2.1A USB battery or Paralinx REGULATOR P-tap to USB 5v 2.1A to receiver: UP TO 328' Line of Sight *depends on environment*
We cannot guarantee any range with a DP6 because it outputs 500Ma ONLY - this is 1/4 the power recommend. That being said I have HEARD of people getting up to 80-100 feet range with it - but I cannot recommend this as a solution. You could modify one of our REGULATOR usbtaps to draw from the line voltage of a DV battery or similar *it accepts 7-22vDC input) or you could use our REGULATOR tm p-tap to USB cable to run from any anton bauer compatible p-tap port on a battery or plate.

3. What is a power consumption of receiver and transmitter?

Receiver Draws 2.1A at 5V, Transmitter Draws 1A at 5V

4. How transmitter is/can be powered?
We include a P-Tap to 5V regulated USB power cable with every transmitter. you could also use a 2.1A usb battery like the Mophie Powerstation pack seen here - this will last for up to 4 hours:

We’ll have Paralinx, IDX and Teradek wireless HDMI sets (with battery solutions) working on various cams at our NAB booth C11143.

Dan, you hinted at some cool accessories coming at NAB. What's the scoop?

Okay - what is Crossbow and Tomahawk? Can't find any info.

I just directed and shot a video with a Paralinx HD wiresless setup and I cant speak high enough about it, what can I say? It simply works. Period. I dont like to fuss with configuration specially on a set when I am running around and time is money...I just turn on my wireless HD monitor and the unit automatically pairs with the transmitter dongle on my EPIC and voila! Picture perfect, Wireless HD on the fly.

The unit is well built, small and under 1k...what more can you ask. Honestly after using this I cant imagine going back. As a DOP I dont like directors over my shoulder or tethered to my camera, its one of those tricks in your bag I would not leave home without, not to mention it will impress your clients when you hand them a slick wireless fed monitor.

As Director I need eyes on everywhere, curious how future models will work or if you can configure it in such a way to switch from A to B cam on the fly...I am sure its possible.

I will finish this with customer service, the people behind the product are actual shooters...I have had the pleasure to work with Dan Kanes before and he is one hell of a DOP and all around good great guy who cares about the end user cause he is one.

4 out of 4 stars to the Paralinx creators, look forward to seeing what they have up their sleeve next.
