especially when she went into wicked witch mode, she didn't look right at all, just weird looking. I just think the witch storyline turned into a bit of a clusterfuck.
Franco and Morgan were ace though. Loved all their bits, not sure why he kept calling her Wanda though...
But oh yeah...it looked FANTASTIC!!!

Also a wonderful-sounding mix. Absolutely terrific sound -- hear it at a Barco Auro 11.2 theater if possible. For a creation of modern Disney machine it's fine, I expected much worse in terms of the story, pacing and character development. The movie looks insanely good, anyway. Cinematography, production design and VFX all excellent.
It's no groundbreaking pixar story that gives you a roller coaster ride of emotions and clever dialogue and story twists. It's simply a straight forward story that's fun to watch.
Overall, I found it to be fun and well worth the admission despite the bad reviews.
I noticed our screen was a bit blurry. At first I thought it might be the camera but when they played the credits, the text looked a bit blurry too (which would never have focus problems).
Love the black-and-white, love the Technicolor look!
yeesh, super bad. My 9-year old asked if we could leave about halfway through! but yes, images looked beautiful. I liked the B&W, its true that it gives the perception of increased dimension.
I wonder if this [perception of increased dimension] has something to do with the results of lowpass filtering and debayering to color on edges?
