out put with renamed file names instead of original R3D file names in the metadata

Hello,

We had to rename the original R3D file names for the client's workflow.
Renaming R3D files and export individual files from RCX pro works fine wether I'm exporting tiff or QT.
But when I export from Davinci with QT or DNx format, it takes the original file names (from metadata?) instead of the renamed filenames.
Can anyone tell me if I can change the setting in the Davinci Resolve to out put straight from the renamed file names?

I believe it's a very bad idea to change file names. Tell the client to change their workflow. Metadata is something that can be changed at any times; file names, no.

Yup,

I think you risk corrupting the original footage. It might be better to reserve a full copy with the origianl file names and rename CLONE copies, but keep a back up with original file names as a backup because the file structure could be completely corrupted by renaming the original media.

I renamed a file once to see what it would do. It split the redcode up and I wound up with a crap load of files for one take.
