  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Otto Nemenz Modified Epic

What's up with their specifications? "1-20 fps @ 5k", "resolution: 1920x1080"... Geez, I guess they did "modify" it... To make Alexa look good? What up, Otto?

Mike

The mods are really great, it makes the current body functional, until the IO module ships. It's also significantly sturdier if you're using large lenses and extra AKS. They're #1 in my book right now for renting an Epic package.

Looks like there is 12v and 24v accessory ports.

Go to the digital cameras link. Gives a brief comparison of the F35, Epic, and Alexa. I recall many stories about how the red one was on shoots with heavier digital cameras but people started just using the R1 because it was lighter and easier. I expect the same will be true with Epic. Pretty massive difference. Honestly, I don't care how good the F35 might look if you compare cameras(that's a big might), at that weight I might be interested at $10,000. Otherwise make mine an Epic.

Modified to work with the accessories they already rent.
