Optimal Settings for Video Card - GPU

I once saw a web page at www.red.com that provided suggested settings for video cards.
I can't find that page again.

It talked about setting the video card such that it uses fifty percent of the RAM and some other parameters.

Based on my system (or in general), what settings would you suggest for optimal performance from the video card for editing UHD (4K) video?

And where do I go to change the percentage of RAM used by the video card?

• Mobo: Asus Prime x299 Deluxe ii
• Ram: DDR4 128GB 4133 Corsair
• SSD: 2TB Samsung
• Video Card: NVIDIA Titan RTX

They are referring to REDCINE-X PRO software for those settings.

In which case, to change that go to:

Edit>Preferences>System

And you will find your GPU acceleration settings.
