Love this camera, love this lens, put them together and you get one incredible combination you can beat (anamorphic wise) (Cook SII/III still rule the world of spheric photography)

Wow, wonderful look Chris!

Cool! Those lomos aren't as big as I imagined they were. Are they PL mount? I thought they had some russian lens mount...

I LOVE LOMO

I only own a set of sphericals but the contrast & looks made me fall in love from day one

Congratulations, thi girl on the bed is poetry, delicious bokeh. Really good shoots.

Christian, can we show this in motion somewhere?

And, how is the close focus distance to focus with Lomo Ana?

Thanks,
Vico

yes they are pretty nice to handle, the 35 is a bit heavy so, but the 50 and 75 are cream lenses, all pl mount, stop of 2,5 and close focus of 1m...
if you have any further questions fell free to ask.

Love Lomos. Jim's concept of one camera that can produce pro quality still and motion pix is really shining.

Lovely shots. Christian, would it be too much to ask for the frames at 2k? Please.

Word of caution, don't expect to get frames like that just by buying the lenses and the camera. ;)

Thanks Roberto, I try my very best every day!
Got my Epic 7 month ago and shot 3 feature films, 2 short films and 10 commercials...
...no end in sight... love it, thanks RED and Jim you're are the man, man!

Looks awesome! I'd love to see more stills or moving images when you have time!

I've got some more...

Do you own these lenses? If so what focal lengths do you have? What model (square or round?) what did you pay for them?

Are you using a 6x6 mattebox? or is 4x5 enough?

35mm wide enough? or do you feel you need something wider?

Thanks!

For that film I had a 35mm, 50mm and 75mm, they were square, I guess in such a mint condition they are around 7000 € a piece.
My MMB 1 worked for all of them, even on the 35 which is very big and heavy!

But want you wanna do with these lenses is to shoot as much as possible without mattebox to get this unbelievable nice looking flares!!!

The more lenses you can choose from the more happy you are as a DP, we all know that, but even with this basic set you can frame
anything you want in a freaking cool way, anamorohic is just incredible!

Ryan,

I just just picked up a 35mm and 80mm, both square. 4 x 5 is going to be more than enough. I want to be able to use 138mm round diopters so I'll be looking to get a box with 140mm aperture. The D/P I bought these from confirms this set up.

By the way, why not give that second "L" its due ;) !
