I've known a lot of people get caught up in the obsession with having the newest and best. They don't want to buy one thing when another, better thing is just on the horizon, and eventually they end up never buying anything at all.
I've never seen a manufacturer fall into the same trap before.
I love my Red One, and once something actually starts shipping I'm sure I'll buy something in the new line-up. But as it stands, the only change that I'm really interested in hearing about is the one from "thought experiment" to "shipping product."
Anyone can come up with great specs. It's the follow-through that matters. I'd rather have a great Scarlet now than an awesome Scarlet never.
