  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ohmygosh...

Well,
I like change and progress.
However, I would really like to just plain stinkin have a scarlet in my hand to use while I'm waiting for the next changes.
Instead I am using the HPX170... gladly I will switch over when the time comes, if it does.

I guess I have to come now! Is the Rio prepared for the massive crowd that you have now guaranteed will show up??

Fortunately, I planned for a big turnout, despite economy. We'll be ready. A lot more space to wander around.

Jim, take your time getting Scarlet right. From my own selfish interests, I took a huge bath in the markets and now won't be ready for my scarlets until at least 6 months....or possibly the end of the year. Anyways, some bigger hitter I am!

I keep up here although I am largely silent. I love reading so many of the posts and have learned a lot.

As long as you guys (Jim, RED) keep focusing on image quality and keeping an reasonable priced Scarlet in the mix, I will find a way to get 1 or 2. I'm real, REAL interested in how small one can make the Scarlet. Be nice to get on the floor of a concert and stealthily grab a little RED video. Anyone have a problem with that?

The Nehalem, 32GB of memory, and now this f#$@%^* news. Life is too good. O' wait... Snow Leopard, FCS3 imminent, NAB this month, Skype on the iPhone... I DIE. I can't take it anymore. :-)

If there is to be any more pleasant suprises, let it be earlier delivery dates :)

Liam, I like the free beer idea. But I was thinking more of the scotch module - like a hip flask in the camera for on the set inspiration.

Mark, I wonder who on earth you could be thinking of?
