Brad,
I see you've given it the "300" movie look.

Beautiful shot, Mark.

I'm also shooting through a Canon MPE-65mm to get stuff like this. This however is a Photo, I just had to snag it during the filming with the Photo rez being what it is.

Cheers,

Love it Paolo! Very Malick-like in its peaceful, human nature. Good to be reminded of that from time to time.

Cheers from Tokyo,

Paul :)

Nice work, Taj.

You've got yourself a good eye for focal length sir! 3 out of 4 isn't bad, but you've got the wrong lens.

1. 5D Mark II + 50mm f/1.2L
2. 1Ds Mark III + 50mm f/1.2L
3. 5D Mark II + 50mm f/1.2L
4. 1Ds Mark III + 85mm f/1.2L

I have the 50mm f/1.4, but I use it mostly for technical/VFX work. I like the character of the 50mm f/1.2L much more. I'm a bit of a lensaholic. I primarily shoot with primes.

Pretty much all of my still work on my site is shot on a 1Ds Mark III, 5D Mark II, 1Ds Mark II, 1Ds Mark I, 10D, D60, or D30. Although, the last 3 bodies are represented fairly lightly. I also had a PhaseOne P25 for about a year before I ran away from owning a medium format system.

Here's one 50mm that may surprise you:
