I've been experimenting a lot with night photography (which can be an expensive risk at about $1.25 per exposure).

Try an ND2 or 4 with a 30 +/- second exposure for this kind of pic, you'll get a better sweep of the tail lights. I'd try it with digital first to get the timing down.

I've been playing with my Mamiya 645 Pro as well and using a 5D as a light meter. :D Works pretty well.

These were all taken with a Canon Rebel XTi and a crappy Tamron 18-200mm lens. Except the last one was with a Canon 24-70mm, 2.8 L-series lens.

#1 is a sunset shot from a boat on the Sea of Cortez. I didn't manipulate this image in any way. Those most beautiful sunset I have ever witnessed. Felt like another planet:)

#2 is a candid photo of some Peruvian girls sharing some powdered sugar candy in a small village.

#3 shows how stubborn life can be. This plant won't give up, even if it is -40 degrees when this photo was taken during the filming of Ice Road Truckers season one.

#4 is another one from IRT in a small town just outside the Arctic Circle. Old broken heavy machinery littered the landscape.

#5 is a photo I took for my wife's handbag company Namaste Inc. The bag is named "The Monroe".

Been doing a lot of renovations in my house in London, and came across some old B and W negatives that I shot from my University days in Edinburgh, scanned them on my low res flat bed, and came across these. Some of you may recognise the singer......

I've decided after almost four years of the same border presentation style for my photos, to go for a new look for 2011....

This is a bit of a sneak peek I guess, given it's still 2010, but hey, what's a month or two between friends? Comments and criticism welcomed!

Enjoy!

Paul

All of these are from my Mamiya M645. I really can't remember anything except the stock speeds for the bottom two is 400.

Hooters Girl, Tokyo

Didn't know there was a Hooters in Tokyo until tonight!

Anyway, here's a photo I took of one of the waitresses :) Shot with Canon 5D MkII and EF50mm f/1.2L USM lens at f2.

My girlfriend, and a bunch of friends and I stayed on Beautiful Lake Wenatchee for new years. This was our view for 3 days. Taken with a 5DII 50mm 1.4 @ F22. 7 consecutive vertical shots, stitched together in Photoshop CS5. The actual image size is 27191x7437 pixels.

I feel I have to post a few to keep enjoying everyone's photos.
Here are a few I liked from our last trip to Minneapolis and Fargo.
