  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OFFHOLLYWOOD shoots MX ISO 1600

Three lenses use:

16mm & 35mm Master prime always shot @ 1.3
85mm Ultra Prime always shot @ 1.9

You can guess which shot uses which lens by the FOV.

And to try to answer Miltos:

There are many shots with bare over exposed bulbs through out the demo... I do not believe that the "black streak" is a property of the new camera. It seems isolated to that shot and could have been introduced at any stage. As I do not have the raw in front of me that is as much as I have to offer.

Taking a Red with a master prime on a NY subway at night would seem like a risky endeavor to me especially if the perpetrators found out that cams' been upgraded to M-X.......
Nice lookin' stuff Mark. Love the skew test you did. If you get a chance do another one during the day for better eval.

Considering that I've never seen Mark able to stand still for longer than ten seconds at a time, I would pay real money to witness this "almost Zen-like" state.

Just watched the footage....and.....WOW!
Now my small LED Lights can have the same results as a 12K HMI.
Well......maybe not.
 
No, I think the renders in Maya Jarred did for our first IBC were much better :-)

Wouldn't the file be about the same size but 4K, as the one Mark posted at 1k?

I can't help but think of how nasty the artifacts would look on those surface water shots with the city lights reflecting in the turbulence with a line-skipping sensor.

Sweet stuff Mark ... and when #39 comes back next week or so, that makes an Offhollywood Trifecta.

I'm thinking this may be powerful enough for 4D.
 
Something tells me the guys who make that COPS show are going to be very, very happy in a few short months :biggrin:
