  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red Raven gets the tick of approval, which is great for lower budget productions. No Red One or DSMC1 though. I can understand the Scarlet-X being rejected, sort of, but the Epic 5K should still be approved, don't you think?

ARRI Alexa and Mini are out. LF, LF Mini and A65 are the only models approved.

For productions seeking to shoot any photochemical film, please contact your relevant Netflix project lead.

The Netflix approved camera list is always interesting-- though I also think people sometimes make too much of it. (Remember: this is only for productions that originate with Netflix-- you can still sell your completed Alexa Mini feature to them.)

Two notes:
-Arri Alexa and Mini were never approved, so it's a little misleading to say they're "out." They were never "in"!
-DSMC 1 is represented in the Red Epic Dragon 6K S35.
