  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I believe lots of stage three Epics have shipped, we just aren't hearing about them all. I witnessed a friend of mine get his today (feb. 2008), I'll have mine next week and my R1 was #1572. Maybe when folks get theirs they just go into some kinds of photographic trance and forget all about reduser.

I think that is exactly what happens! Who's going to want to hang out on reduser when they have an epic in their hands ;)

Just going by people posting their comments that they have received their emails, etc. Okay, the spreadsheet doesn't show the full picture, and their are many more out there. I feel your pain. I am way after you sitting in the Stage 4 line, so my wait will be longer. Given that (I think) they are sending out emails based on RED One Delivery Date, the delivery dates they see to be up to around August 2008.

Sorry if you have taken my comments as seeming like inside information - not at all intended that way. We're all in the same boat here.

EDIT: Just read Tehban post above. Great tracking here my friend. Yes the list is a small % of the true numbers, but it does give an idea where we are in the process given that RED have stated that they are emailing out based on R1 Delivery date. So having some people on the list with their delivery dates helps to track the progress. So it seems we are around Aug 2008 delivery date ;)
 
59 confirmed email notifications since Jan 13th with the last batch from August 2008 camera's.
Of course there are way more people in stage 3 then the list, but you can still get a general idea of how things are progressing and things seem to be moving fairly quickly! imho.
 
Will the speed of delivery stay on that level? if yes, some people will wait until 2014, and then there are already new cameras to buy.
 
It's hard to believe but Jarred posted that all stages and backordered cameras will be shipped by end of March. at lease that's how i read his post. fingers crossed.

oh really? were did you read that? you mean march 2012? its hard to believe that.

New system, which won't be fully implemented until the end of this month, is going to take away almost all of the guesswork in our "anticipated" dates, but we will start getting limited visibility on what is going on next week.

Remember March is our big "out of backorder month" on most everything.. and everything is on track for that to happen... Including All versions of the Scarlets brains and packages and the Epic stages.

The week-to-week info until then is likely going to be a bit hit and miss... but i will still give them if the info is available.
