Hey guys,
I just recently came off a feature as a 2nd and during our time we ended up breaking three Noga Arms. We were extremely careful after our first one broke but even normal wear and tear these arms just didn't hold up. Same thing would happen everytime where it would become unthreaded at the elbow. We weren't even cranking them down that hard. Is there any place where you can just buy the elbow arms or get them repaired? Is there a better solution than a Noga arm? At $140 an arm you would think they would last a bit longer. Surprisingly enough our DP had the RED articulating arm which looks just like a Noga and very well may be a rebranded Noga and it lasted the entire shoot. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone.
