No seriously, they did in fact speed things up a bit.

Excellent. My MacBook Pro was reaching 90deg Celsius with cores maxed out rendering. That's with internal fans going full speed!! So these might save having to keep a huge fan blowing on my laptop!

How do you max your cores out?

How do you max your cores out?

You Say you max your cores out on Red Cine?
My perennial problem is that they never max out....

How do you do it?

If you set it to export 6 clips at a time you can nearly max out a 12/24 core Mac Pro. Almost.

wow - i will send this along to my coworker who can't believe the new Mac towers aren't significantly faster (or at least not enough for him! :). Very nice idea.

There is a better warrenty on the RED stick then their Red Rocket Card. Something is off here.

"All stickers carry a 5-year 3M guarantee against fading or cracking"

And the sticker is weatherproof.

hahahaha, you'd need a Himalayan glacier to keep that thing cool for a 5k transcode

I swear you can fry an egg on that top strip in the upper left.
