Nikon Z mount for Raptor XL

Is it strange that RED hasn’t released a Nikon Z mount for the XL? I thought that when Nikon bought them it would be early on their list.

To my understanding, it's not possible. You can adapt z mounts to other standards because of how shallow z mount is, but the reverse is not true. The z mount depth is too shallow to accommodate the behind the lens ND featured on XL.
