  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NIKON 80 - 200 2.8 converted to PL surprises me...

Here is a grab of my 6 week old son from the 80-200 at T2.8, it's quite sharp!

And of course my favorite pup at T4 (notice the Bokeh)...

The two big trade-offs for this and and any still lens is the short focus throw (110º) and the breathing, but it's no worse than an Angie 10:1 HR in that respect.

Evin! Congrats on the new (6 weeks, anyway) little one. :)

+1 for a previous post... how do you guys feel about those conversions? Anyone tried them?
They're doing both the 28-70mm and the 70-200mm. Also available in PL mounts:

Interesting... Where do you see PL mount conversions though? I'm just seeing them in their native nikon and canon mounts and most of the conversions are pretty straight-forward, they even sell the ring kits it seems.

It's in the description, below the images:

"Lens Standard Interface: Optional Canon EF bayonet mount, Nikon F-bayonet mount, PL mount.
Optional switch interface: PL films mouth (extra cost)."

I tried contacting them several times about the PL mount on the 70-200 but no response.
