What the??? You guys are effin' fast as hell.

Jim...dude. I've been quiet for quite a bit. You're AMAZING sir. Absolutely amazing.

Multiple Rockets?

:confused1:

werd
how many rockets if you don't mind me asking?

I'm guessing two. Don't know why u'd want more than two. Idea is that it'll use one rocket for each r3d stream when working with 3D. but if it supports more than 2 rockets more power to you:thumbsup:

Excellent!

• Multiple Rockets supported

Crap, now I'll have to buy another one. :)

• Rocket Video Out fixed.

Yay, going to test right now. And... IT WORKS!

Thanks Deanan, and the rest of the team, for looking into that issue!

Jim, the last few days (just like the last few years) have been incredible. Thank you and the whole team, amazing stuff!

Jim, instead of having a hundred threads (hyperbole) that are similarly named (e.g. "New REDCINE-X," "Newer REDCINE-X," "Newest REDCINE-X"), why not simply title it "REDCINE-X Build 321" so people can find the most relevant and up to date REDCINE-X discussion?

In the future, please use "REDCINE-X Build n" for thread titles.

Just a suggestion.

Multiple Rockets allows me to keep up with 2 cameras on set and deliver at night or threw-out the day.
KILLER move.

1 computer , 1 RCX, 2 cameras sometimes 3, 2 RED Rockets, 1 DIT colorist.

1 happy crew and team.

This really makes my station POWERFUL and fast.
Thank you whoever came up with this idea and made it happen.

Luis

just was curious thats all

edit:
RED still planning 9k 28k etc? maybe stackable rockets will be needed in the future

sry wasnt meant to be aggressive statement n what not:-P

using multi rockets for 28k would make sense if its beyond capability of a single rocket. or maybe a super rocket will be available by that time:biggrin:

multiple rockets? .r3d 3d? very cool. you guys have been lightning fast with this, much appreciated! I know the epic will do hdr in camera, but as two streams. Would the multiple rockets possibly be to help handle hdr in post?

hey george, not taken as aggressive bro, and what u said re:two streams 3d makes sense

That was quick! I'm really excited about trim with RMD.

Mulitiple rockets... Does that mean if I have two I'll get 2X realtime when processing 4k?

Thanks again Red team!

Thanks for this newer build; it cured a Windows 64 bit crashing issue for me. Congratulations RED Team on the last couple of days of incredible developments!

Kickin's ass! The first thing I noticed was the joy of not digging through hidden system files (Var/etc/usr) just to get to an external drive. Does make me wonder though: Any chance of seeing frame guide burn-in in the future? We usually deliver 1:85:1 but capture 16:9. It lets us see what we have and how much we can reframe without blowing anything up but its a royal pain to get it in the offline renders.
