  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New york times - EPIC / RED ONE

We all get very spoiled looking at hi-res Red footage all day long. Think it makes us lose perspective quite a bit. Fortunately with these, I was looking more at the mood they created, the performances, and the lighting. Pixel peeping was far down the list. Although, admittedly I was curious which ones were R1 and which ones were Epic. Just a mild curiosity. :-)

Amen!

Could be a good test, tell a RED1 apart from Epic judging by a graded, compressed and downsized footage. And I guess those sparkling-new REDs are a normal thing for those shooting high-end fashion and beauty products on a regular basis)

Was that footage all shot in slow mo then sped up to look like normal motion and fast motion in post? What was the setting for the slo mo?
