Here is my latest video, "TimeScapes: Rapture"

http://www.vimeo.com/16369165

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Jim Jannard, Graeme, Jarred, Deanan and the whole Red Team. I could not and would not be shooting this film now if it were not for Jim and Red. Period. There is no way I would trust my dreams to a Sony EX1, etc, and with film I could never have done this because of the costs and other restraints. Not to mention that I think MX simply look better than chemical film.

Must see project!!

Must see project!!

Tom your work is has high energy and simple inspiring you rock!!

Congratulations Tom, you are a truly amazing artist. Your hard work will surely pay off.

More great stuff Tom. You must have a huge desire in your heart for this beautiful art. I know how much talent you have and how time consuming this work can be. Congratulations on your vision so far and keep up the hard work.

I hope to be one of the first to purchase "Southwest Lights"

Tom,

looks amazing to watch 1080p on full screen at HP Dreamcolor wide gamut color 30 bit LCD.

Also I transfered "Rapture" trailer to iPad.

"Rapture" on iPad: Shot on Canon 7D with Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 zoom.

Looks fantastic.

Your newest trailer already shows a nice story or a certain narrative structure that I am expecting from your movie.

Those beautiful dancing girls (shot on R1-MX) and moving night sky (shot on Canon 5DMK2) makes me "hungry" to go there right away.

Looking forward to order Blu-Ray.

Sanjin, I am waiting for you to join me shooting this film when you get to the States!

You are the first to comment on the girls. That was at Coachella, and they were EXTREMELY hot. :001_tt1:

Tom,

I would like to join you tomorrow but still "locked" with "private life" here in Vienna.

In the case that I get "unlocked" sooner or later I'm there in about 9 hours (New York).

Hey Tom

You used to amaze me but now you scare me.
You became that good.

Your editing is always spot on the music. Very good timing.
That crane und automatic dolly are the weapons you needed.
The double movement makes your shots so sick.
But besides all the tech stuff, your framing is always very beautiful,
let's not forget that. You nail the shots every time. That's hard to do.

Can't wait for the big movie.
Keep on rocking man.

Tim

Absolutely stunning Tom.

Gave me goosebumps!

Had to share it with someone so showed it to my bro... silence for two minutes - jaw on the floor and first words used - "Woah - can you get this on Blu-ray?".

To have this effect on those watching your work must be simply amazing.

Keep inspiring.

All the best,

Beautiful. Great "feel" for the image as well as dynamics. Hats off.

Kudos Tom,
Those cold nights are well worth it - breathtaking on a 40 inch screen, 40 foot - forget about it....

Tom...wow.

Your work is off the hook now. Amazing work.
No wonder you're itching for Epic FF.

This should be an IMAX experience, as well you know.

You are opening a gateway to a whole new existential perspective for viewers.

I hope you get the chance to shoot the northern lights in Canada one day,
sadly the NLs are pretty quiet these days.

Keep it up. 10 Blu-rays for Christmas gifts plz!

Tom, looks like it's all coming together very nicely now. Love the cutting back and forth between timelapse and live action too. Gorgeous stuff.

Wish my schedule hadn't prevented me from making a trip out to the midwest to do some shooting with you. When do you wrap production?

Steve
