  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Short Film on Scarlet-X 81!

Looks really well done Michael. As someone mentioned, love the road shot, and the colors look great on the other actions.

Would you be able to post some settings you used in the RAW capture of the images? Thanks Michael, look forward to the final piece.

nice color buddy :cheers2::cheers2: what redlog and redcode do u use

thanks

RedGamma2 in Filming then changed to Redlogfilm for grading.

Redcode 6 I believe. I left it up to my dp.

Hey guys, I just posted the link of the new video on the first page!

Check it out!

Believe it or not, it was on top of a car, with my Red 18-85, on my Manfrotto 536's stemmed up pretty high.

Quite scary, but worth it.

Nicely done. Wish a couple of the shots you couldn't see the "actor" breathing/eyes moving, but everything else rocked. Loved the dramtic pacing, compostions and whole feel of the piece. Your sound tech did an amazing job. Nice coloring as well. :-)

Yea, the "actor" was just a kid that was in a terrible mood all day. He didn't want to be covered in blood and it was 40 degrees outside.

but, we tried to cut around it as best as we could.

Great work! Really had my attention the whole time. That's what it's all about good story telling.

Wow, really good! I really liked the grading and composition! Nicely done. The only thing I noticed that could make it better is the part where the car stops, instead of switching to the shot of his foot stepping out, just roll with the long shot and keep it all in one. The intensity was building and that kind of brought it down some. Either way it is still great, don't get me wrong, but it could work to heighten the intensity!

Great work Michael, I look forward to this next one.

Good job, Michael. :-) I like the filmic look. Shot at 24fps with 180° shutter ?
