I'll be posting this video up later tonight. Just thought I'd post some screenshots for now. This was my first time operating the camera, coming from a Panasonic HPX170 background it was quite a challenge to make it through a 4 minute long take handheld (top handle). Need to build up some muscle!

The audio was recorded using sennhesier lavs to the wooden camera Abox along with some Zoomh2's. Stay tuned!

EDIT: VIDEO POSTED! - http://www.southernsouls.ca/fort-york/

Also forgot to mention I was using the RED 17-50mm

Looking good!

Looks great. Really looking forward to seeing more.

looks good, i'm really interested in the audio portion of it and how you managed that. If condensor mics were used or not since phantom is non-operable for now

2 Sennheiser G3 ENG Kits (Wireless transmitter and receiver) for two lead vocalists
Zoomh2's for Bass, Lead Guitar, and third vocal.

Video will be ready in about 5 min...

Nice work! Group sounds great as well!

This is exactly why I can't wait for my Scarlet. Simple, live shooting like this looks incredible.
Love the one take feel, but I know what you mean about a 4 min take. It'll get easier.

Again, nice job, loved the video, and great location as well.

Fantastic! Really great stuff. Tell us about post. NLE? Grading?

Thanks Jarek!

Final Cut Pro 7. Adjusted my ISO and FLUT controls in RED Cine X to get the levels sitting nice and then did further colouring in Final Cut just with the 3 way colour correction. I'm sure it wasn't the best way to do it it's just what I'm used to, haven't gotten the hang of RED Cine X just yet. Audio mixing and mastering done in protools.

Thanks for the post mitch, can you go deeper about the audio topic. What were your connections into the scarlet, was this at mic level?
