Is the new robocop movie, set for release in 2013,is being shot on red epic cameras????? I just saw this set picture but can't figure out clearly what camera that is, thought it looks like a red brick there at its back.

Does anyone in this forum know anything about it???? PLSSSSS REPLY......

My backyard is practically Pinewood Studios so maybe I'll bump into this production and find out.

They're shooting a majority of the film in Hamilton from what I've been told by IA 667 guys, so you might not see too much outdoor action near pinewood.

What da hell happened to the suit???

Such a big disappointment.

Not only will it be soft in larger theaters they ruined the suit and know know what else.

yeah it looks pretty bad in this pic at least. I'm still looking forward to it. Seems harder and harder to make a good SCI FI these days.

Robocop's suit is awful I know that much.

The suit will probably look much better in the movie, will likely be CG enhanced as well.

Totally planning on that. Because there's no other reason for it to look so "meh" unless they plan to CG it up.

Not sure what to think on the RoboCop reboot... The original is a cult classic for sure, its two sequels were garbage, especially #3. Anyway, I'm a fan of the original. ...Still waiting to buy my 6000 SUX. :)

I'm still strongly of the opinion that the studios and "Hollywood" has no fucking clue what good Sci Fi is or is all about. I [and a handful of others] have been trying to show them for years, but they're not interested. All I have to show for it is a couple weak response letters and one optioned script. Found out later that my script was optioned not for the story or its content, but because of a conflicting similarity of one minute detail (a name, primarily) to another film they had just green-lit. I guess it was cheaper to just tie me up for a bit rather than to have their legal department send me a nice letter asking me to kindly change the name before I keep shopping it around. Which I would have gladly done had I known... These sort of things happen.

I had an agent for a while and she was great, but it finally came to a point where I decided that if I want to see a good Sci Fi film, I was going to have to make it myself. Unfortunately, I have two features in pre-production limbo and the more I do it, the more I realize I hate playing the role of producer. And other things in life keep pulling me away. So maybe someday I'll make it happen, but it's no longer a focal point for my existence.
