  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Reel... helmet on.

Loved every bit of it. I'm also curious about the desert shots at the end, very nice.

Beauteous badass. AND a camel...

That was a wonderful romp. Almost Epic, one might say...

At least we know who's really in charge over there. :-)

Awesome guys! Great mix of footage and continues to show that when in the right hands, the R1 shoots amazing images. Kudos to the DPs. Every time I watch one of these reels I get taken back to the day I made the decision about putting a deposit on a R1 and there was no Red Reel at that point. It just seemed like you guys were on to something, and this is the culmination of that initial feeling I had. This is an amazing tool. Watching that last shot in the desert had me wanting to go shoot something right now.

Congrats guys! The intense effort, long hours, eating-drinking-sleeping RED hopefully seems all worth it to you guys when you kick back and watch the images up on the big screen.

Looks fantastic. Thank you for making this available in 1080p, it really makes a difference.

WHat was this shot on?

Only kidding, Looks incredible, I would lvoe to see the NAB and IBC red reel edited into one..

This looks great! Like Steve, it makes me wanna go shoot something now, which I guess is the whole point. Right on.

Hey Jim, Jarred, etc: I know you all are probably beat after a quick globe trot, but if you have the time in the next few days, I think those of us who didn't make it to IBC would really appreciate a couple detailed shots of the prototypes you all presented. I saw the ones floating around here, but a few more would be wonderful...if ya feel like it of course :tongue_smilie: Thanks!
Peace,

-Harry
