Hi Everyone,

I was hoping for some more photos from IBC 2009...

Anyone who attended, please upload your photos here!

Round of beers for those who contribute!!!

Thanks so much,

funny like most info is hided in several other threads. I hardly catch it

Jannard and Jarred said they'd throw up a bunch of info and pics when they get back (sunday?) although definitely at some point this week we'll see probably a summary of what stuff was said and the look of the final cam

Oooh... best video I've seen yet, and you can hear Jarred answering some questions.

Things I saw heard:

1) Hex latch mechanism on bottom to release modules
2) Epic brain = ~6lbs.
3) Optical umbilical to seperate modules.. long distances possible (500'!)
4) Runtime of handle battery = ~50 minutes
5) Large Lemo connector on back panel allows for external power
6) Dual CF confirmed as a module

Thanks for taking/posting this.

Wow, the brain weighs 6 lbs? I'm currently shooting with an HVX200 (~5.5 lbs) and was hoping the Scarlet would be significantly lighter since the unit looked smaller in size. Anyone know how much lighter the Scarlet is expected to be than the Epic?

The Scarlet brain is about an inch thinner (same height/length), I don't know how much but that definitely saves some weight :)
Also there is a separate backplate that fans out so it fits the regular(epic) module size.

Epic brain = ~6lbs. = 2.7 kilograms
