I new Leica would be the first to combine fast and full frame.
But they're not full frame...
Full aperture S35. Should cover 5K I think, even the really wide ones.

Sanjin, you're on crack if you think those frame grabs prove anything.
...But now I'm pretty far away of the topic of this tread that is a rumor about new Leica'a Mystery name(d) lenses.
Ecellent point, Sanjin. LOL

Steve,
you can compare the samples from both sensors that are already available online:

I don't think anyone said one of those frame grabs was M-X did they? Sure hope not.

The 'mystery' competitor camera was an F35.
Stephen,
I repeat again that some of us like me knew that from a long before....
Hi,
As the blacks are crushed on the RED MX examples your showing, it's not possible to make any meaningful comparison. All we know is the F35 had the best DR of any existing cameras last year when several independent tests were carried out. I seem to remember seeing some charts from RED a couple of years ago showing very high ISO's, personally I was never able to get results as good as the examples posted.
Stephen
Stephen,
F35 should not be considered as a "so friendly ergonomics" camera it's more like a "big and fat digital duck" as I have got impression playing with it at the last IBC show in Amsterdam.
Also don't forget that upcoming Epic looks like you would compare Apple computer (RED Epic) with Fujitsu Siemens Computer (partly German based computer) Arri Alev III EVF.
So what is better computer?
Of course Apple (in this case RED Epic)...
