DAVINCI RESOLVE 9 V4 IPAD LAYOUT

Unleash the power of Davinci Resolve 9 on your iPad! This is the new Esperimentocinema Davinci Resolve 9 V4 Layout for iPad. It allows to use the keyboard shortcuts keys of Resolve 9 on your iPad, advanced playback functions and this new version is resolution independent and it works with all ipad models! We improved the layout and we redesigned the position of the buttons, now it's more practical and faster!

You can download it for free and install on your ipad with a click of the button following this link http://esperimentocinema.com/resolve-layout/

I installed it and played with it a bit. Overall, great tool, not terribly useful, but really fun to play with. I can see this app helping new users to help learning to operate Resolve. No need to remember the shortcuts, just push the ready-made buttons and go. Personally I use Shuttle Pro together with Quickeys, which allows me to program just about anything to the real buttons.
Using the iPad app, I'd used the gestural pad and with a tap I was able to apply the node with a window and swiping to the left and to the right I was doing the tracking. Of coarse you can do tyendouble tap for the square window and triple for the freehand etc. But at the end of the day, until there is some kind of tactile feedback I can't see it be very useful. But great app nevertheless! Thanks for sharing Luca.
BTW, it's important to note, that VNC use with the app is mandatory. I learned a nasty surprise, when I didn't use VNC and immediately my GPU acceleration for Resolve stopped working:-)

Thanks guys! I know it's not a control surface (and never wanted to be) but for us it works good and it helps a lot, so we thought to share :)
To connect the app follow this link http://www.iosproapps.com/products/keypad/help/index.html the method that we use is the alternative method with VNC (Thanks Jake to mentioned it!).
