Hey guys,

So I haven't gotten my case yet, but I did order one and it has been completed. Before it shipped I got some pictures, and I loved it so much I had to share. Made with extreme attention to detail by Jason Comparetto of Cinema Oxide. He takes your guidance and turns it into something beautiful. Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel labels, and my logo in the upper left hand corner.

It fits:
4x Redvols
1x Travel Charger
1x 5.0" Touch Screen
1x Epic
1x Module Adapter
1x Redmote
1x Bomb EVF
2x accessorie compartments for cables, tools, etc.

I'll update with more pictures when my it arrives and I can put my gear in it.

Super Slick!

I don't know what the final price will be when he has everything set, but for that case it was $500 for the custom cut foam, and $100 for the Pelican 1510 to put the foam in. Or there abouts, I don't remember the exact price.

I like it but it does take a lot of space, I love trekpak...they do however take a long time to deliver that is my only complaint

Indeed, not quite as space efficient. but much better if you ever have somebody else packing your camera away. Each piece only goes in one way and is always protected, This also allows for very well protected gear during shipping.

I stopped using custom foam. It goes so quick until it needs to be replaced. Using these padded cases now and get tons of more gear in and can reorganize etc. But for rentals it doe not really work, comes back as a mess everytime :)

Yeah I understand that, I'm hoping the carbon fiber on top give it some strength. My Red Epic case from RED is still doing good

If your foam is dying that quickly, it might just be cheap foam. We use a high-grade foam which extends the life dramatically. In fact, we've been selling this foam for close to 3 years now and nobody has asked for it to be replaced... so I think it has more to do with the kind of foams that you use.

I've never liked TrekPak because it just doesn't seem to offer enough cushion for my components. Pelican cases are often thrown around on sets and I like to have at least 1" of foam around my Epic, personally.
