New Cases for RED One

My new case designs for the RED One are finally available. These are the cases that I worked out for our rental kits, and we had some extras made for Sales as well.

It is two cases, one for the camera kit and the second for batteries/chargers. Case one contains what is in our standard rental kit. Note that this is the only case design which allows the viewfinder to be mounted to the camera in the case. My idea was to have as much of the camera built as possible while sitting in the case. There's room for other variations and space for a extra hard drive or two. I also made the main case with two wheels and a retractable handle. The battery case rests comfortably on top of it for transport and storage.

Can you post some more pics...especially of the 2nd case for accessories? Can you post dimensions?

We just got ours set up, but it's VERY big. I may be interested in this solution.

This is great if under 50lb for airline baggage or under 70lb for most shippers. Otherwise, very expensive to ship.

I think all our kits are out working right now. As soon as they're back in I'll weight them. The small case should be under 50lbs., but no way on the big one. That's why it's on wheels.

That's actually the color of all Abel rental cases. We have a few in black as well for Sales in case some people didn't want red.
