Doesn't the lower batteries have the same amount of power as the Redvolt XLs? So the amount of battery time would be the same I guess?

The Blueshape has more 95 vs 89 on an XL.

Cool. I bet Granite mini has something to do with Jarred..
Hope the 95W comes as lightweight as the PAG lite

The article said that they would be releasing more info about the flight case at NAB, so maybe we'll get more info on the batteries too.

Nice I already have 4 big Granite. which I really like, no fuss, good price and long lasting. Then adding a few small ones.... Anyone that wants t buy my Xl module, 4 batteries, quad charger and AC adapter and weapon pellicase?

If you are shooting handheld with the camera against your body do the Blueshape V-Mounts shift at all, or they grip the V-mount tightly? I had some V-mounts (off brand) that would slip off the mount and then the camera would shut down. This is something I really liked about the XLs.

The blue shape sits snugg. but you really need to give them a good pull to snap into the lock... more than once I though I did and then grabbing the camera by the battery and shit falls appart... but when it clicks in it does sit more snug than XL's.

Good to know. Thanks!

I don't understand why no battery manufacturer jump onto some new technology fast. The fist V-lock to come out with batteries that last a day with a 15min charge-up would kill the market and be the king of batteries.

"Unique in the industry, the Blueshape Granite Two and Granite Mini models allow rental houses to set a rental period on their battery. The batteries lock themselves once the rental period has expired."

When rental people say they want a discount as "they only have one shooting day and the rest is traveling days etc..." smack, the batteries brick on them :)

Christoffer what would that tech be? Litium Ion s whats in pretty much everything these days no?
