These are my first quick Test shots with my new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k. Just some Handheld and Tripod shots i shot in Braw 8:1 mode 16:9 and 2.4:9 edited with Brawstudio in Premiere Pro because i first have to get better with DaVinci Resolve 16.

Took a walk around the neighborhood with my girlfriend and dog and brought along my new camera. If anyone has any questions on the look / camera, let me know.

This was my first time using the camera, right out of the box with an old beat up Canon 17-40L + A Tiffen Mist filter I had prior.

Watch until the middle of the video to see which settings were used and the before and after color grading. Not sure if YouTube supports 6K playback, but the final export is in 6K (6144x3456) 16:9.

I pulled this scene from a recent music video that I worked on with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. I was going for a tinted blue look to create a dreamy state within the subconscious of the character.

A Summer Afternoon in Old Montreal

Took a new Blackmagic Pocket 6k for a walk through Montreal. What it lacks in usability, it makes up for with image quality. This is also my first project with Resolve... so yes, it could be cleaner (the 60p-24p seems off + noise and occasional banding) but before purchasing I wanted to see how it might work as a b-roll camera... so here you go.

Hanamikoji Street is one of the north-south streets of Kyoto City. It is the main street that passes through the center of Gion. At Shijo-dori, the atmosphere differs greatly between the north and south. Izakayas（Japanese bar restaurant） are located in the north of Shijo-dori. There are many historical teahouses and restaurants. In 2001, the undergroundization of electric wires and the maintenance of stone pavements were completed, and it was reborn as an emotional townscape.

Just some test footage of the new BMPCC 6K. This is my first time shooting a wedding, I definitely do not consider myself a wedding videographer. I shot this as a last minute favor. Also, it was a good opportunity to get out and get some test footage with this camera. You can see a gorgeous summer storm rolling by during the ceremony and it was a miracle that it didn't hit us.

First Wedding Film with the BMPCC 6K?!

So excited to share the first wedding video I've shot with the new BMPCC 6k! Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance of this camera and would highly recommend it. However, I want to continue testing this camera to determine if the upgrade from the BMPCC 4k was entirely worthwhile.
