  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Allstar lens is available - 135mm T1.9 PL Lite version

Is it just me or? I didnt see an Iris ring on the 18-35.

Both lenses look great! A few years ago, Allstar showed a rehoused Nikon 14-24 (like the Ruby). Did that ever wind up being offered for sale?

Thank you for email and interesting in the lens.
For everyone’s convenience, I ask Dan to let me put my stuff in his booth.
Please visit “the Paralinx” NAB booths: booth C7439 for my lens and also see his Arrow wireless hdmi system.
But please do not ask booth member questions about the lens, because they won’t know about information about the lens.
If you have any question, please contact me :

18-35 has iris ring. But the one I bring with me here is prototype, which doesn’t have iris gear yet.

Has the focus rotation on the 18-35 been expanded? Or is it the same as the original lens? What about the rotation direction? And finally...this May may seem like a silly question but is there a way to keep the iris as an electronic function as opposed to a manual ring? It is very handy when the camera is on a crane to be able to change the f stop with the redmote

In the survey thread it was mentioned that there is a Lite version (no expansion of focus) and a Cinema version, which goes to 300deg, but will be ~$5000.... The same in every other way.

How much are the different mounts?

I just checked out the 18-35 lite...fantastic built. Focus has not been expanded but none the less a great lens. I'd like to buy one for that price. Please let us know when it's available
