  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

There are no retailers either, gotta buy direct from RED, you'll need to watch the RED.com for when to buy, info should be coming out just before or at NAB in April

late summer? where did you find this. Last I heard it was a few weeks after NAB 2011, thats what Jim posted a few weeks ago. Late summer works for me anyhow. . . still saving up.

Um, you must have read it without the "." that divided both statements highlighted in yellow.

The Scarlet ships soon after the "reasonable quantities shipped before NAB". Not after ALL the EPIC-X's are delivered...
 
arg, does it take more than a second to just do a simple search....??
 
Joseph, do you know how many epic M thats left to deliver? If you don't know its probely topsecret=) Seams like Mike Seymour got an Epic X? Does this mean we are about to ramp up with Epic X?
 
I'm not Joseph and certainly can't speak for him...

But I don't think RED has set a magic number for how many EPIC-Ms they will be producing. In fact, they recently made a statement to the point that they may keep the machined-body option available for customers who just want to have a machined body.

I do expect, as Jim has said, that people will begin getting their Epic-X cameras before NAB. I'm thinking it probably won't be thousands shipping before then, but a fair number. Or as Jim said - "Reasonable quantities."
