  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Nate and Sean finally finished "Bruiser" and are on the road. I'm Pretty sure Cleigh and Josh snuck on the truck as well. I saw them all off @ the Berrics today and they are weaving their way up the West coast for the next couple weeks so if you are on the path between Los Angeles and Whistler, BC, Canada, then hit them up and see if you can catch them as they roll through. They have Ravens and Scarlet-Ws and Weapons to play with and swag to give out to whoever can catch them.

Hey RED family! Nate and Sean here!

It’s been a hot minute since we have been in the same place long enough to really make something of it, but the time has finally come!

Yes, we have hijacked Jarred’s Freightliner MT45 and have given it a makeover. It’s now the ultimate, absolute bruiser of a RED camera truck. It was originally built and used by the camera department on one of Fincher’s productions. When they wrapped, we saw a vehicle begging to be driven on the studio lot! We hit her with a solid new paint job, mounted some hefty off-road lights, loaded up Jarred’s Intuitive Aerial drone, our gimbals, 4K TV, NES, SNES, skateboards and a BBQ just see where it takes us.

Against what HR thinks is a good idea, we nabbed a WEAPON, SCARLET-W and a RAVEN from engineering and added it to our quiver to take on an epic road trip up to Whistler. We left on this expedition from our HQ in Irvine this morning and are simply heading North. We'll stop in the major cities (or the bush) to meet with some awesome companies and shooters who are using RED in fascinating ways. We have these amazing new cameras and want to show them off. More importantly, we want to show them to YOU! Make sure you follow the socials below to stay up to date with where we’re at and come get hands on with the latest RED gear.

Our scheduled time on the road is pretty tight, but we’re open to West Coast suggestions on where to stop, talk about cameras, grill some weenies, shoot some clips, nature anything, blast off fireworks… pretty much looking for fun and getting into trouble.

We feel that this tour is about art and the individuals who make it. From the trucks graffiti and it’s machined hood ornament, to the hand drawn RED RECON poster and the numbered screen prints, It’s the very thing that motivates us all.

We’ll be documenting the voyage and releasing mini-doc episodes showcasing the people we meet, images we capture, and the mayhem that is sure to ensue with four renegade RED employees. If this works out, who knows… maybe we’ll do a RED RECON 2.0 and drive this beast to your city. ;)

My first post. I'm very much looking forward to spending some time with Nick next week here in the Porltand Oregon area and start my journey into RED's ecosystem and family.
 
Lots of moving parts but we plan to be crossing the border around the last few days of this month, if we don't crash into a ditch or blow this truck to pieces by then ;)
