will there be an epic-x dragon option which is less than the $29,000 currently available? will that give us a trade in offer than is less than $19,000 if we wait for that to come out?

It has been stated that EPIC-X DRAGON will be $24,000 USD for brain only.

Depends what EPIC-X you are talking about - M-X or DRAGON. The latter obviously cannot being until we are shipping EPIC-X DRAGON. I think FAQs state you will be charged at time trade in / upgrade is processed, not at pre-order. I also said a few posts ago.

Side SSD, if you was doing DRAGON, we have to engrave your existing one with DRAGON. Same Side SSD and lens mount will be returned to you.

sorry it is getting confusing.....i was talking about regular epic M-X not dragon.....when would that ship out (appr. time frame, since it shows available in the store)
i am looking to trade up to existing epic X (not dragon) now and trade up to dragon from that later, when dragon is available.....

My rep just called me and we talked a bit about that... seems Scarlet to Epic will be in July like the Scarlet to Scarlet to Dragon. :confused5:

You'd think that they would be able to ship an Epic out immediately no?

Let's clarify.
- SCARLET to EPIC-X DRAGON trade in cannot begin until EPIC-X DRAGONS are available. So no ETA for that at this time.
- SCARLET to EPIC-X M-X trade-in, no ETA at this time. After we get back from NAB we can shift focus to see when we will be ready to kick this off.
- SCARLET DRAGON upgrades, yes, start July 2013.

- No. If you do SCARLET DRAGON, you cannot then do trade in for EPIC DRAGON. If you want that, do it up front.
- Should be in FAQs, but we expect 7-10 business days from time we get to time we ship.
- Yes
