REDCINE-X Professional Build 18 Alpha.

This is an Alpha for Build 18. We have done alot of GPU work to offload some of the effect processing to speed things up.

Added: OpenCL processing for Effects. Requires an OpenCL 1.1 driver and a card with 768MB or more memory onboard.
Added: SDI Output for AJA Kona and BlackMagic DeckLink cards.
Added: Buffering and frame updating notifications to viewer.
Added: XMP metadata functionality to JPEG exports.
Added: ICC color profile functionality to JPEG exports.
Improved: Viewer Performance.
Improved: Playback speed on Windows.
Fixed: Incorrectly formatted save filename when exporting 3D snapshots in some cases.

NOTE: minimum requirements are Mac OS X 10.7 and 64-bit Windows. Alpha build.. don't use on real productions.

Only five comments for something that is great, and *free*?

Thanks, Jarred.

I like that it now tells you when it is buffering in the playback window.

Woke up from the party last night to this news ;)

Nice

For Mac Users - Build 18 Alpha is not a signed binary, so you will need to right click (ctrl+click) and choose open once before OSX will allow you to run it, otherwise you'll just get the security box that pops up and will not run the app when you choose ok.

Just installed it, and loving it. The SDI passthrough the Kona works awesome. Thanks!!!!
